Air pollution monitoring system

Air pollution is life threatening and its level monitoring is a major problem worldwide. Toaday with traditional methods of air pollution monitoring, it is not possible to effectively track rapid changes in air pollutant levels.

In response to this challenge, we have developed an intelligent and distributed air pollution monitoring system based on the ESP8266 microcontroller. This groundbreaking system offers a cost-effective solution for assessing air quality by:

  • Utilizing sensors to continuously monitor atmospheric carbon dioxide, dust levels, temperature, and humidity.
  • Establishing a wireless WiFi connection for seamless real-time data transmission.
  • Aggregating the collected data on the ThingsBoard server and presenting it visually on a map

Powered by IoT technologies, our air pollution monitoring system excels in efficiently tracking air quality in urban areas, storing data on servers for in-depth analysis, and empowering informed decision-making to combat air pollution effectively.
